​Riversands Wines Announces 2025 Australia Day "Long Table Down the Vines" Event​
Riversands Wines is set to host its annual "Long Table Down the Vines" event on Saturday, January 25, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM at their vineyard on Whytes Road, St George, Queensland. This Australia Day weekend celebration promises an evening of regional cuisine, award-winning wines, live entertainment, and community festivities.​
Culinary Experience
The event will feature a gourmet menu crafted by Mitchell-based Chef Sue Alm, highlighting local and regional ingredients. Appetizers include Red Thai Curry Fishcakes made with Condabilla Cod and Mudgereeba Spices, Baked Kenilworth Brie with roasted Riversands grapes, and Queensland Red Claw Rillette Cups. Main courses offer Low & Slow Three Rivers Lamb Shoulder with a lime glaze and Three Rivers Sirloin accompanied by Moonrocks caramelized onion. Desserts feature Mocha Pannacotta with Western QLD Spirit Bushranger Rum Poached Figs and a Western Skies Pink Gin Trifle.
Entertainment and Activities
Guests will enjoy live music by popular entertainer Cathy Drummond and insights from guest speakers and local producers. A grape stomping challenge adds a fun, interactive element to the evening. Neale Stuart, known as the "golden voice of outback commercial radio" and a KIX Country Music broadcaster heard across 57 stations nationwide, will serve as the event's compere
